I am amazed that in 2019 there is not a better way of making appointments at this surgery!. I have explained on several occasions that my job does not allow me to make personal calls, so being able to arrange an appointment for a future date is imperative. Even if I was able to make an appointment for that day, I would not be able to leave work to attend at such short notice! The surgery as a whole really needs to sort this issue - in the mean time Ill be looking at other surgeries in the area - Im sure they cant be as useless as this for making appointments.
One star which is down to Dr Earland. If you need an appointment DEMAND to see somebody else because you will be brushed off without a second thought.
You can normally only make an on the day appointment unless 1 of the gps have said they need to see you. You get told to ring from 8 but the lines are always engaged. You will be very lucky if you get through to them before 10 and then its normally all the appointments have gone
Tried to make an appointment with a doctor, so I thought phone first phone line constantly engaged so called down in the afternoon to make an appointment, sorry fully booked for a month this was around 2pm and the surgery was empty except for a couple with children seeing the nurse. Cant a doctor see you then or are they at lunch,I was told the book will be open tomorrow so phone in then back to square 1. I dont need an appointment straight away because I need to see Doctor and Nurse together but I was told I need to see the doctor first so that would be another appointment. If the phone is constantly engaged couldnt you leave a message so receptionist could pick it up later
